We’ll Treat You Like Family

Evans Body Shop is proud to be a woman-owned and operated auto repair shop. Born and raised in Van Buren, AR, our owners want to be able to give back to the community that has given them so much. When you choose Evans Body Shop, you’re choosing a shop that is locally owned and invested in the community. You can be sure we’re going to treat you like family!

Evans Body Shop team

Misty

Owner

Misty wears a lot of hats at Evans Body Shop—owner, marketing team, IT support, HR department, customer service rep, and, on occasion, designated coffee runner. With nearly two decades in the auto industry, she’s learned that fixing cars is only half the job—sometimes you’re fixing Wi-Fi passwords, too.

What she loves most about running Evans Body Shop is watching her team grow and succeed—whether they’re buying their first homes, raising families, or chasing new goals. Outside the shop, Misty’s usually on an adventure (typically involving water or mountains). Her motto? Once you bring your car to Evans, you’re family—and there will definitely be snacks.

Rodney

Owner

With more than 35 years in the auto body industry, Rodney helps keep Evans Body Shop running smoothly by overseeing daily operations and lending a hand wherever needed. His leadership and experience make him the cornerstone of the shop.

Rodney’s favorite part of the job? The people—both his coworkers and the loyal customers who’ve become part of the Evans family. His dream car is an ’87 Camaro IROC-Z, and he wants customers to know they’ll always feel right at home at Evans Body Shop.

Trish

Front Office Manager (aka Chaos Coordinator)

Trish has been in the repair industry her whole life—she literally grew up in a body shop! As Evans Body Shop’s Front Office Manager, she’s the friendly face who keeps the front end running smoothly while managing the fast-paced (and sometimes chaotic) flow of each day.

Her favorite part of the job? The people! Trish loves working with her coworkers (especially her best friend) and enjoys that no two days are ever the same. When she’s not at work, you might find her adding to her rock collection, and she’s always got a Dr Pepper in hand.

One thing Trish wants you to know about Evans Body Shop: “We genuinely care about every single vehicle that comes through our doors.”

Gary

Lead Body Tech & Instructor

With 36 years of experience in auto body repair, Gary is the go-to problem solver at Evans Body Shop. As Lead Body Tech and Instructor, he’s known for tackling every challenge—big or small—with patience, skill, and a perfectionist’s touch.

A true craftsman at heart, Gary finds satisfaction in bringing vehicles back to life. When he’s not at the shop, he’s probably in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes—he’s a self-proclaimed foodie who treats cooking like another form of art. His philosophy is simple: every car deserves your best effort, no matter what.

Landon

Paint Prep Tech / Painter’s Apprentice

Landon might be one of the newer faces at Evans Body Shop, but his speed and skill are already turning heads. As a Paint Prep Tech and Painter’s Apprentice, he loves the freedom his work gives him and the satisfaction of seeing a car transformed.

A fun fact most people don’t know: Landon can type 140 words per minute and type the entire alphabet in just 2.8 seconds. Fast hands come in handy in the paint booth!

When he’s not in the shop, Tony’s usually tackling a home improvement project or finding something new to build. His car-care tip? Keep it vacuumed, always hand wash, and—most importantly—don’t let the kids inside.

Bobby

Estimator (and Supporting Actor to Trish)

Bobby has been in the collision repair industry for over 15 years and has become known for his easygoing attitude and sharp eye for detail. As an Estimator—and self-described “supporting actor to Trish”—he keeps things running smoothly at the front while keeping the mood light with a good sense of humor.

When he’s not writing estimates, Bobby’s likely hanging out with his daughter, playing guitar, writing music, or out kayaking on a sunny day. His best car-care advice? “Never, under any circumstances, use an automatic car wash.”

Omar

Auto Body Technician

With 18 years in the auto body industry, Omar is a master at making damaged cars look brand new again. As one of Evans Body Shop’s skilled technicians, he brings precision and pride to every repair.

Omar’s dream ride? A Rolls Royce Phantom—because if you’re going to appreciate craftsmanship, you might as well aim high. He wants customers to know that Evans Body Shop doesn’t just fix cars—they detail them for free, too. That’s the Evans difference!

Ty

Parts Coordinator

Ty keeps the Evans Body Shop team running like a well-oiled machine by managing parts and ensuring every repair stays on track. With four years in the industry, he’s a key player in keeping jobs flowing smoothly and customers happy.

Outside of work, Ty’s a musician who brings creativity and rhythm into everything he does. His message for customers? Evans Body Shop now offers calibrations—another way they’re raising the bar for quality repairs.

Will

Lead Painter

Will brings 20 years of painting experience to the Evans Body Shop team, ranging from custom airbrushing to high-production refinishing. As Paint Department Manager, he handles everything from ordering materials to ensuring each job leaves the booth looking flawless.

He enjoys the freedom to paint and create at his own pace, with a true artist’s eye for detail. His dream ride is a ’92–’95 Honda Civic Hatchback, and he takes pride in knowing that every car leaving the shop shines like new.

Sklyer

Detailer & Paint Corrections

Skyler’s the finishing touch at Evans Body Shop—literally. As Detailer and Paint Correction specialist, he makes sure every car leaves the shop spotless and shining like new. With five years in the industry, he knows that the little details make the biggest difference.

When he’s not perfecting a paint job, Skyler’s likely gaming, fishing, or longboarding. His top tip for keeping your car clean? Keep a bottle of quick detailer or all-purpose cleaner and a rag handy—you never know when you’ll need to knock the dust off.

Meet The Owners!

Rodney & Misty

Rodney and Misty are both Van Buren, AR natives. After graduating high school, Rodney attended body shop school at Arkansas Tech in Ozark, while Misty obtained an Associate of Arts degree from Westark (UAFS.) Rod spent 11+ years working as the lead painter at a local limousine manufacturer. He then moved over to Breeden Dodge before they decided to open their own shop.

Combining Misty’s business background and Rodney’s 25 years of body shop experience, they opened Evans Body Shop in November of 2006. Misty spent years as a travel agent but was always around the shop behind the scenes. In 2015 she started working here full time.

They are proud to have created an environment that really has a family feel–when you visit the shop. You’ll find that people have only nice things to say.
